Elba
Elba is the biggest island of the
Tuscan Archipelago.
It gained a mention in history books for the
Emperor Napoleon was exiled there after his first abdication. He stayed less than ten months, as he escaped the vigilance of the
Royal Navy and returned to France, entering the legend during the famous
Hundred Days.
Had he known his fate, maybe he would have stayed king of this narrow, but marvelous land!
